How To: Recognize many products as one
Sometimes it is necessary to recognize many different product names as one product. For example:
- Your company has product named Product One
- At some time it was decided to release special offer and on your Service Provider you've set up new product named Product One Special Offer
- At Christmas it was decided to release Christmas offer for this product named Product One Christmas Offer
- But all these three products on your Service Provider really are one product on your side: Product One
In such cases you can adjust Parser Rules in RegKeeper options to allow recognition of several different products as one.
So, for our example: add the rule item with value Product One and in matches memo type in first line Product One Special Offer and Product One Christmas Offer in second line. Then when orders for either Product One Special Offer or Product One Christmas Offer will be received they all will be recognized as orders for Product One.
The same applies for other fields like How Found, Delivery Method and so on.
