To enable RegKeeper to automatically retrieve e-mail orders and send e-mail notifications to your customers, you have to enter your e-mail server data.
Incoming Mail (POP3)
RegKeeper can retrieve orders from several e-mail servers. Use the E-mail Accounts list to manage your POP3 accounts.
Click Add to add a new e-mail account, or Edit to modify it. This will bring up the E-mail Account editor dialog, which is used to add or modify an e-mail account.
In the E-mail Account dialog, enter a descriptive name for the account into the Account name field. Enter the mail server's address, port number, username and password into the corresponding fields.
To remove the accounts, select them and click Delete.
Outgoing Mail (SMTP)
Incoming mail (POP3) server - enter the name or IP address of your incoming mail server.
Port - Enter the port number for the SMTP server. The default value is 25.
My server requires authentication - activate this in case your outgoing server needs authentication before sending e-mails.
Login to POP3 server - some e-mail servers require the user to login to its POP3 account before sending an e-mail. Check this box to login for outgoing mails too. Enter you username and password in the edit boxes below.
Use SMTP authentication - some e-mail servers require the user to login first before sending an e-mail. Check this box to login for outgoing mail too. Enter you user name and password in the edit boxes below.
If you are not sure about the values you have to enter, ask your network administrator or Internet provider.
Activate Send bulk emails grouped option if you need to make a pause when sending bulk e-mails. This is useful for some SMTP servers, which block mass mail and require some pause after number of messages. RegKeeper will pause for Pause value after number of messages specified in Group by field sent.
